At the service of energy efficiency

Electricity markets have opened up and, today, this applies to all disciplines and will be complete by July 2007 as well as the implementation of climate plan 204, specifically commitments to reducing greenhouse effect gases which will be seen in the form of a new approach: the search of energy efficiency.
Repercussions affecting all businesses, all citizens and their electricity consumption will now undergo in-depth changes.
Up until now, electricity had been regarded as a low cost and virtually unlimited resource and this has led to consumption that has grown steadily for all economic actors.
Lower consumption has to be the key to controlling and even reducing electricity bills.

This is the only approach that will enable us to reach the targets that France has set itself in terms of climate preservation: reducing our CO2 emissions by 75% by 2015, going through an initial stage in 2010 where they will be reduced to their 1990 levels. This can only be achieved by making 2% energy savings per year until 2015

The INEO intends to intervene in three areas :

1 - General energy audit

INEO, in partnership with the Group’s European laboratory, Laborelec, analyses all equipment that consumes electricity, utilisation practices and the thermal inertia of buildings. On the basis of these analyses, our technicians study potential energy-saving sources and put forward an optimisation and support plan ranging from design to financing.

2 - Operational control

If we are to improve the running of a building’s technical equipment, we sometimes need to provide multiple metering and set up a monitoring system for each load curve area. Power quality can also vary according to equipment type. We can optimise the supply/demand match by selecting appropriate systems.

3 - Maintenance and supply

Our maintenance teams have been sensitized and maintain equipment with a view to controlling the amounts of energy consumed. To their electrical skills, we have to add those of our partners such as AXIMA, a company within the SUEZ group specialising in air conditioning. Thanks to a partnership with ELECTRABEL, another company within the SUEZ group, we can offer guaranteed price total electricity supply and services contracts. These offers are progress plans that include the concept of sharing out the savings made. In some cases, they can be optimised by producing savings attestations for structures.
